1. General Information

SatvaFit LLP (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this website. These terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, vendors, customers, and contributors of content. We reserve the right to update or change these terms at any time without prior notice.

2. Nature of Handcrafted Wood Products (Important)

Our products—including Mudgars, Gadas, Indian Clubs, and Samtolas—are handcrafted from natural, premium-quality wood. Unlike plastic or metal, wood is a living material that reacts to its environment. By purchasing from SatvaFit, you acknowledge and accept the following characteristics:

  • Natural Variations: No two pieces of wood are identical. Differences in grain pattern, color shades, and texture are natural features of the wood and are not considered defects.

  • Knots and Wood Fillers: Wood naturally contains knots (the base of branches). It is a standard woodworking practice to fill these knots or small gaps with wood filler or sawdust to ensure a smooth finish. The presence of wood filling or sawdust patching is not a manufacturing defect and does not compromise the structural integrity of the tool.

  • Hairline Cracks: Wood is hygroscopic, meaning it expands and contracts with changes in temperature and humidity. Small hairline cracks may appear over time as the wood adapts to your climate. These are cosmetic in nature and do not constitute a defect unless they significantly affect the usage or safety of the equipment.

3. Weight Tolerance Policy

Due to the varying density of natural wood, it is impossible to guarantee an exact weight for every product.

  • Weight Variance: Please allow for a weight tolerance of approximately ±10% (or +/- 500g to 1000g) from the listed weight.

  • Example: A Mudgar listed as 5kg may weigh between 4.5kg and 5.5kg.

  • We categorize our products in weight ranges (e.g., 3-4kg, 5-6kg) to account for these natural variations. This variance is normal for authentic wooden equipment and is not grounds for a return or replacement.

4. Usage and Safety Disclaimer

SatvaFit provides traditional fitness equipment designed for strength and mobility training.

  • Assumption of Risk: Swinging heavy wooden tools involves physical risk. By using our products, you assume full responsibility for your safety and the safety of those around you.

  • Proper Use: We recommend learning proper technique before attempting heavy swings. SatvaFit is not liable for any injuries, damages, or accidents resulting from the improper use, negligence, or lack of skill in using our products.

  • Maintenance: It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect their equipment regularly for any signs of significant damage that could make it unsafe to use.

5. Order Acceptance and Pricing

  • We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us.

  • Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.

  • We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

6. Returns and Replacements

Our return policy covers genuine manufacturing defects only.

  • What IS a Defect: Structural breakage upon arrival, significant damage during transit, or receiving the wrong item.

  • What is NOT a Defect: As detailed in Section 2 & 3—hairline cracks, wood fillings, natural knots, color variations, or weight variances within the standard tolerance.

  • To report a defect, you must provide an unboxing video and clear photographs within 24 hours of delivery to info@satvafit.com or via WhatsApp.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including product designs, text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of SatvaFit LLP and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not use our content without express written permission.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra.
