Not at all. Wood is a living material that expands and contracts. Small hairline cracks are often superficial "checking" and don't affect structural integrity.
Pro Tip: Mix some wood glue with fine sawdust to create a paste. Fill the crack, let it dry for 24 hours, and sand smooth (1000 grit Sanding Paper)
Sweat can sometimes make the surface slick. Use gym chalk for a better grip during heavy sessions. Over time, the regular contact with your hands will naturally roughen the texture slightly for a perfect grip.
Because wood is a natural material, density varies from log to log. Slight weight variations (±500-1000g) are normal and a hallmark of authentic, handcrafted equipment.
Our equipments are crafted from premium Sun-Dried Indian Siris. This process removes moisture and eliminates pests. As long as you store it in a clean, dry environment, your equipment remains safe.
Simply wipe it down with a dry or slightly damp cloth after use. Avoid using soaps, detergents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the wood grain.
